This exciting role is a mix of technical support and sales. Focusing on developing new business opportunities with food companies across the Southeast. Offering best in class solutions that deliver functional and nutritional ingredients that match current needs in terms of HFSS requirements, vegan and vegetarian products and other great tasing foods. A real technical food role for a passionate foodie.

Job role

Reporting to the National Account Controller you will:

  • Work to ensure needs of our manufacturing clients are met
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Develop new products by working at our sites and client sites to ensure our ingredients deliver what the customer wants
  • Be customer orientated providing continuous success in launches of innovative new products through a creative blue-sky approach to product development and in recipe creation.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to provide technical support

Ideal Candidate will have

  • A culinary-chef or a food science background
  • Some customer facing experience
  • Ability to create new and innovative products in line with agreed business plans & market developments, showing a real flair for food & culinary trends
  • Effectively manage the development process from concept origination to product handover meeting all deadlines both internally and externally.

  • £50,000 Salary
  • Annual bonus.20%
