THE COMPANY
Based in the vibrant North West of England, you'll be part of a significant UK-based food brand and own-label manufacturer with strong trading ties across Grocery Multiple accounts. They're known for delivering outstanding quality and service to customers.
Their renowned brands, backed by solid marketing investment, continue to expand and are household favourites.
This well-supported business is gearing up to elevate its operations this year. The Commercial Director is seeking top-tier Account Management talent, offering opportunities for rapid career advancement to the next management level.
THE ROLE
You will directly manage and influence the substantial P&L performance of a major Grocery Multiple account and have direct influence on developing trading strategies focused on growing brand distribution activities. You will steer and impact the significant profit and loss performance of a major Grocery Multiple account, i.e. Tesco or Sainsbury’s. Your role will include developing trading strategies aimed at expanding brand distribution activities.
In short, you're akin to the Managing Director of a major customer, wielding the authority to shape strategies and influence the business agenda both internally and externally. Your contributions will make a tangible difference to the company's overall performance.
This role offers flexible working arrangements, requiring only two days in the office per week, facilitating an excellent work-life balance.
ABOUT YOU
As the ideal candidate, you'll come equipped with extensive retail account experience, with a strong focus on managing the Top 4 retailers. Your proven track record will highlight your ability to effectively navigate the complexities inherent in managing these key accounts, consistently surpassing strategic objectives.
