The Meals Solutions division of 2 Sisters Food Group is seeking an experienced and driven Category Manager to join our established divisional team.

About The Role:

Reporting into the Category and Insight Controller, this position will play an essential role in the development of relationships with our key customers. The Category Manager will be expected to work closely with the team and other stakeholders to manage day to day customer relationships, deliver on projects and produce the data and insights needed to exceed client expectations.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Investigate, identify, and utilise appropriate trends & information data, including retail, online and out of home in the UK and selected countries around the world.
  • Work with teams across the division to create innovative, insight driven product and promotional strategies to grow sales and profitability both internally and for all key customers and brands.
  • Review relevant events and NPD launches across the market identifying clear conclusions and next steps.
  • Analyse weekly and monthly data and produce reports and presentations to deliver to key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate EPOS and market data as well as customer demographics, and shopping habits - draw meaningful conclusions and propose creative ways to maximise sales opportunities in store and online for all customers & brands.

This will be a hybrid mobile position requiring regular travel to sites across the division.

About You:

To excel in this Category Manager role you will need to demonstrate:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within Chilled Food Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrable experience of support major retailers such as M&S or ASDA.
  • Strong understanding and ability to use / manipulate IRI, Kantar and other intelligence sources.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Full UK Driving License and the flexibility to travel to site and customers as needed.
