My client, a manufacturer of consumer travel products, are looking to add a hungry, driven export sales manager to their global team.
Client Details
My client are a marketing leading manufacturer of consumer travel products who have built and developed a very successful, global customer base. Selling in over 110 countries worldwide and based out of 12 global offices (including England, Germany, USA and India) they have delivered excellent year on year results for the last 30 years, growing rapidly and expanding to around 200 products.
As much as possible, within their manufacturing process, my client uses recycled plastic and where possible they use alternative materials to plastic, as sustainability is very important to them and they want to have a positive effect on the environment.
This is a great opportunity for a driven export sales manager to grow their career and earn some very good commission.
Description
The Export Sales Manager - DACH:
- Manage the DACH region, working with retailers, distributors and wholesalers / agents to maximise sales.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion possibilities.
- Analyse market / industry trends / opportunities and competitor activities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Provide the necessary tools to achieve sales closure.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.
- Seek out and develop new business sales opportunities in underdeveloped regions.
- Develop excellent, sustainable business relationships.
- Ensure brand image.
- Build and maintain business relationships with managers and key people to ensure continued support for the brand
- Travel to meet customers and new potential customers across the DACH region.
Profile
The Successful Export Sales Manager - DACH:
- Proven track record within an export / international sales role
- Experience working within / selling into the DACH region
- Fluent German Speaker
- Experience dealing with international distributors / retailers / agents / wholesalers
- Experience selling consumer products / consumer electronics / consumer durables / consumer accessories
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
- Proven track record within international business, delivering sales growth and the development of excellent, sustainable business relationships.
- Proven track record developing new international accounts / international distribution partners
- Entrepreneur profile, you will be very autonomous and a self - starter
- Happy to travel to see customers within your DACH region
- Understanding impact of sales activities and customer's demands in admin, finance, logistics areas mainly.
- Team building and empathetic profile to build long term sustainable business relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees.
Job Offer
The Successful Export Sales Manager - DACH:
- £50,000 - £60,000 per annum base salary
- £20,000 - £40,000 commission (very realistic and achievable, based on sales targets)
