I don’t say that lightly either. If you’re fed up of a lack of investment within the OOH space, frustrated by a lack of personal development, or feeling you’re unable to offer your customers what they really want and need, you HAVE to take note of this opportunity!
Due to continued growth and investment, Signature is working with a food manufacturer who is making waves in the industry and that includes Food Service, (which, as we all know, can be the poorer cousin to Retail – not here) are looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to take their Food Service business to the next level.
These guys mean business and have an offering, factory capability and team in place that can deliver and deliver, quality, product diversity, efficiencies and tailored bespoke NPD. Their capability is unbelievable and will continue to invest as per customer needs.
They’re a Yorkshire-based business and we’re looking for someone local to one of their sites to come and join them. You’ll find a team of people who genuinely care, are forward thinking and who are pulling in the same direction to continue to deliver on the growth numbers they’ve experienced over the past few years. They balance heritage and ambition beautifully and these guys will suit someone who also has ambition, drive for results and who genuinely cares about customer delivery.
This is a role which is new business focussed and whilst you’ll be walking into a portfolio of established accounts and big names in the industry, there is a huge amount of white space to go after.
Commercial Manager – Food Service; Responsibilities
- accountability across Food Service End Users including large established accounts and nurturing new business
- business development across End Users
- working with the RTM Commercial Manager and wider supply chain to ensure delivery
- development of the End User customer base as well as implementation and execution – this is your strategy to develop and own!
This is a key appointment for this foodie organisation and looking for a blend of experience so you can hit the ground running and a passion for new business development.
What we’re looking for to be successful in this role:
- in Food Service End User customer development within private label food manufacturing
- a ‘hunter’ rather than a ‘farmer’ and have a flair for developing new business and relationships
- resilient, tenacious and forward thinking who is passionate about food!
- in nurturing relationships across the supply chain within both customer and internal functions.
