Experienced Category Manager required on a 6 – 8 month contract.

Remote role with 1 day a month in the North West.

Our client is one of Europe’s leading food manufacturers suppling a broad range of high-quality own label and branded products, operating within four key channels.

This Category Manager opportunity will pull on your FMCG Category experience and retail knowledge to create category narratives to support the development of category plans, whilst utilizing a variety of data sources such as Retail Link, Kantar, Nielsen, IRI. 

Enabling you to identify not just market trends but future opportunities that can be capitalised through your interaction with customers.

Having an adaptable approach and capable of solving problems with that get stuck in attitude from strategy concept, new market opportunities, planning through to full number crunching.

Excellent communication & relationship skills, along with insightful presentations & of course the key ingredient the ability to influence retailers to implement tailored recommendations.
