Up to £65k with £6k car allowance and 10% bonus

Our client:

  • A leading sales and marketing agency that specialises in providing comprehensive solutions to FMCG manufacturers.
  • They are looking for an Account Lead to manage this client relationship – with a focus on the grocery channels.
  • This is a global business with huge operations in the US and a rapidly growing team in the UK – great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial aspect of a larger enterprise.

The role:

  • In this client facing role as Account Lead, you’ll foster strong client relationships with key contacts across this major FMCG brand, driving performance, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Reporting into the Business Unit Controller – you will lead the development and execution of short- and long-term category strategies through field teams and actionable insights to drive the very best returns from the field execution they deliver.
  • Communication and leadership – you will understand the needs of your global foods client and communicate effectively in order to maximise the outreach out your field sales team.
  • As Account Lead, you will act as a strategic liaison between the client (Grocery teams) and the business, aligning category strategies and initiatives.

Ideal candidate:

  • You will have strong people skills and an ability to lead via example – able to effectively build relationships and a strong rapport.
  • As Account Lead, you will have a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior leadership teams.
  • You’ll be operating across Grocery Customer teams within a major branded player so having experience operating as a NAM or SNAM in a branded FMCG environment would certainly set you up for success in the role.
