National Account Manager

Office based in East Anglia – Cambridgeshire / Suffolk

£50,000-60,000 + bonus + car allowance + benefits

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will help develop a business plan and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth for a significant part of the category. Developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy as well as leading JBP discussions and negotiations. You will work with a team of 5 with three NPD managers driving our own label strategy and two in administration support.

Ideal candidates will have an FMCG Food -own label background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. We will also consider candidates from a more entrepreneurial SME food background. You will have the ability to manage complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management.  You will be an action orientated and passionate account manager who is happy to roll your sleeves up and work as part of a small, dynamic team. You will have the potential to grow into a more senior position.
