Location: South East

C£165k DOE + Highly attractive bonus + Package

The business:

  • A well-established £multi-million UK Bakery Ingredients supplier to the bakery, B2B, food manufacturing and foodservice sectors with a reputation for second-to-none customer service, quality, honesty & integrity
  • Currently experiencing a period of unprecedented growth with ambitious but equally achievable plans for continued double digit growth over the next 5 years to reach a turnover of c£100m
  • Their culture puts the customer at the heart of the business providing an unparalleled service from every facet of the business
  • As a key part of their continued growth, they are now seeking to recruit a Commercial Director

In the role you should expect to:

  • Develop & lead the execution of their 5-year strategic plan through your technical expertise, network in Bakery Ingredients and leadership capabilities
  • Report to the CEO, and be fully P&L accountable for current and new business targets – with an emphasis very much on the latter
  • Identify and bring other strategic commercial opportunities to the business
  • Maintain and build a high-performing commercial team, optimising company processes & systems and providing support to the wider business and other departments.

The business is looking for a Commercial Director that has:

  • Natural leadership qualities to inspire & motivate others in their team but also across the wider business
  • A strong reputation for honesty & integrity built up over a c15 year period of sustained success in the field of Bakery Ingredients
  • A natural passion & motivation for building new and maintaining close relationships with key customers & suppliers in the Bakery Ingredients sector
  • Excellent demonstratable new business generation, account management, negotiation, communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Given the nature & size of the role, it’s expected that you’ll be within a commutable distance to their Southeast based Head Office
