Fantastic Senior role selling to Food Manufacturers

We are one of the leading suppliers in the UK of bakery ingredients and artisan bakery products.

Our products are renowned for their high quality and are sourced from all over Europe, and some worldwide.

Our customers span a wide range of sectors including foodservice end users, wholesalers and bakery manufacturers.

Our brand is well recognised in the bakery sector, and we have an established loyal customer base across the UK.
One side of our range is of Premium bakery ingredients, (sugars, creams, butters, flours, chocolate powder) which we supply to artisan bakeries, food manufacturers and hospitality establishments.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and service alongside the diversity of our comprehensive range.

Due to further growth we are seeking to appoint a Senior NAM to manage and develop relationships with the Food manufacturing sector.

THE ROLE:

This position is a key position to fulfil exciting plans of our company over forthcoming years.

We have developed strong relationships with Food manufacturers – and part of the role is to retain and further develop business with these clients – many of which are within the bakery or dessert manufacturing sectors.

You will also be targeted on winning new business with both corporate and medium sized food manufacturers.

As part of the role you will be expected to fully manage tendering processes and a vast proportion of the business is secured on a contracted basis.

Due to the senior nature of the position the role is home based, with expectation to visit the office approximately once a fortnight.

THE APPLICANT:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in selling ingredients to Food Manufacturers.

  • Candidates must have operated selling to Food Manufacturers at buyer level.
  • Candidates with experience selling to Bakery or Desserts manufacturers will be of strong interest although experience of these sectors is not essential.
  • Candidates must be flexible in their approach to new business and be equally as driven to win business with medium sized manufacturers as they are to win business with major corporates.
  • Candidates must have strong IT stills and be able to successfully work remotely in a home based position.
