National Account Manager
North west - in office 1 day a week
£53,000 - £60,000 + Car allowance + Bonus up to 40% + Benefits
Due to growth and internal promotions, they require a National Account Manager to join the team and to come and manage a major multiple and a second-level multiple account. While having the financial muscle of a major food manufacturer this will not be like working for a large blue-chip corporation. As they are a dynamic, focused, and entrepreneurial business. that allows fast decisions.
High-profile National Account Manager role:
- Working with a top grocery account, involved in strategic account development
- Managing mainly branded with some own-label ranges.
- Develop joint business plans across the brands whilst negotiating long-term own-label contracts.
- Need to understand the needs of the business and how to meet these in all areas of pricing, promotions, and category development.
- Build relationships cross-functionally across your account portfolio.
- Work closely with the National Account Controller
Ideal Candidates:
- Will have managed a Grocery retailer as a National Account Manager.
- Background in food/ non-food/ drinks/ health and beauty.
- Can understand data provided by Nielsen and Kantar and use this to support the sales story and the new product development programme.
- With passion and entrepreneurial skills to make this happen.
- With excellent communication skills and high levels of IT literacy and financial acumen.
