Field Sales Solutions has an exciting opportunity for you to join them as a Grocery Regional Sales Controller.

This is your opportunity to work for Field Sales Solutions, a leading field marketing company. We represent the fastest growing confectionery company in the UK.  Whilst you will be employed by Field Sales Solutions, you will be assigned to work for one of our largest clients Ferrero.  Ferrero is a rapidly expanding FMCG that encompasses iconic brands such as Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Nutella, Tic Tac, Thornton’s, Fox’s & Burton Biscuits!

In return for joining us as our Grocery Regional Sales Controller we can offer you a competitive salary of £41,000 + up to 11.5% Bonus + Company Car & Fuel Card

Ideal Location: South of England - Individual home postcodes will be checked with our Journey Planning Team. 

What you will be doing as our Grocery Regional Sales Controller?

  • Managing the ongoing development and improvement of the UK Grocery field operation for our client Ferrero.
  • Delivering value to our client Ferrero by ensuring effective implementation and compliance to all call file activity. Driving sales growth & return on investment in all outlets.
  • Coaching & developing a Team of Regional Sales Managers
  • Agreeing stretching but achievable KPIs and ensuring that these are delivered.
  • Reviewing & preparing results analysis at the end of each cycle, using this analysis to improve both individual and team performance & make strategic recommendations.
  • Ensuring that all field executives and managers achieve the required levels of performance ongoing, managing all relevant HR processes.
  • Proportionately higher amount of field time spent on highest turnover stores.
  • Manage VIP visits to ensure all stores are at the highest possible standard.
  • Ensure all New Starters are taken through the Field Sales Solutions standard induction & training.
  • Spending a minimum of 1 day with each Team member every 6 weeks, conducting effective weekly reviews with each direct report.
  • Ensuring that managers are conducting effective field visits with each member of their team at least once every six weeks.
  • Implementing Personal Development Programs with mangers.
  • Monitoring market conditions, customer & competitor behaviour & propose strategies to maximise return.

What will you need to become our Grocery Regional Sales Controller?

  • To be results driven, with knowledge of the grocery sector & FMCG.
  • Previous people management experience
  • Commercial acumen.
  • A proven track record of achieving KPIs and driving performance.
  • Ability to analyse data and think strategically.
  • A passionate, inspirational leader, capable of setting the standard for others to follow.
  • Willing to stay away. 
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
