Description
* Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with the overall business goals
* Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize the online platform
* Lead and develop a high-performing eCommerce team of 5 people, offering direction and mentorship
* Drive the digital roadmap from a DEV and UX perspective
* Trading responsibility of the website and the content for the website
* Oversee the user experience design and implement strategies to enhance website usability
* Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to optimize conversion rates and CEX
* Work closely with the digital marketing team to support and develop marketing campaigns
* Utilise analytics to track KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management
* Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
* Oversee software development with external agencies to land exciting change that is timely, high quality and to budget
Profile
A successful Head of eCommerce should have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Omnichannel experience is essential
- Contact centre experience
- Proven experience in an eCommerce leadership role with a track record for growth
- Strong understanding of online retail, digital marketing, and eCommerce technologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in the eCommerce landscape
- SFCC platforms knowledge would be advantageous
- Team management experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience including agency management
- Team player with a collaborative approach that's able to communicate and influence across all levels
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of £75,000 - £85,000 per year
