CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Are you ready to elevate your career with a global food company that is on an impressive growth trajectory? Imagine being part of a mission-driven organisation that not only leads with its values but also fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement. This is your chance to shine as a Senior National Account Manager, where you will play a pivotal role, in managing a strategic Grocery Multiple account.

THE COMPANY

Located in the vibrant North West of England, you would be joining a substantial UK-based brand and own-label manufacturing food business with integrated trading partnerships across the Grocery Multiple accounts. They deliver outstanding quality and service to their customers.

Their high-quality brands are growing and are household names, all with well-supported marketing investment.

This well-invested business is looking to further step-change its operation this year, with the Commercial Director looking to attract additional top Account Management talent, with the potential to fast-track their future career growth up to the next management level.

THE ROLE

You will directly manage and influence the substantial P&L performance of a major Grocery Multiple account and have direct influence on developing trading strategies focused on growing brand distribution activities. You will drive own label product availability, supporting multi-site, in-store display quality and consumer-led promotional activities.

In short, you’re the MD of a large, high-profile customer with a platform to build strategies and influence the business agenda at a senior level both externally and internally, so making a real business performance difference!

This position offers agile working arrangements, requiring your presence in the office only two days a week, thus providing an excellent work-life balance.

ABOUT YOU

As the ideal candidate, you will bring extensive retail and commercial experience to the table, with a particular emphasis on working with the Top 5 retailers. Your proven track record will demonstrate your ability to navigate the complexities of these key accounts, ensuring that strategic objectives are met and exceeded.

Your exceptional persuasion and negotiation skills will be your tools of the trade, allowing you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, drive sales and deliver results that contribute to the company's ambitious growth plans. Your ability to think on your feet, coupled with a strategic mindset, will ensure that you can adapt to the ever-changing retail landscape, keeping the company at the forefront of the industry.

In return for your dedication and expertise, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package, reflective of the high calibre of professional that you are. You will also be part of a supportive team environment where your contributions are not only valued but are integral to the company's success.

If you are ready to take on this challenging and rewarding role, where your efforts will make a significant impact, then this is the moment to step forward and make your mark in the food industry.

Please apply below or email Maria at mariam@smithcarey.co.uk quoting reference MS/2422, including full details of your current benefits package.

Alternatively, please call Maria Murphy for an initial confidential discussion on 07745 184922.
