Work and Rescue Sales Manager

Lyon Equipment Limited (Lyon) is proud to be an employee-owned company.  We are located adjacent to J38 on the M6 at Tebay, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Established in 1973, our mission is to provide equipment and expertise to allow people to ‘venture further’ within the work at height and rescue industries, cycle, outdoor and watersports markets. In addition to distribution, we design and manufacture our own Lyon branded products and provide technical training for the work at height and rescue industries. 

Based at our head office in Tebay, Cumbria the Work and Rescue Sales Manager will be responsible for the growth and development of our Work and Rescue sales department and the associated brands. This will include our own Lyon manufactured product range.

The role has the following responsibilities:

• Developing our Work and Rescue B2B, B2C and training sales strategy to increase revenue and profitability
• Management of Lyon Work and Rescue accounts
• Product ranging and costings
• Identifying market opportunities for Lyon Manufactured products
• Developing strategies to bring Lyon Equipment manufactured products to market
• Management of Lyon Work and Rescue department sales staff
• Working with the Head of Work and Rescue to develop new lines of business
• Working with the Head of Work and Rescue and Marketing Manager to develop our annual marketing plan
