THE ROLE
As an Account Manager, you will report to the Head of F&B Division and be the first point of contact for new enquiries. You will also be responsible for managing your own customer accounts, providing high quality products and developing strong client relationships. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst being highly organised and upholding our strong ethical values.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Proactively and reactively manage new sales leads
- Manage project briefs, sample requests, product quotations and meeting target deadlines
- Management of customer accounts and projects
- Liaising with internal departments and customers, being a critical link in NPD process
- Acting as first point of contact - dealing with customer correspondence and phone calls
- Show an active interest in new food and drink products and trends
You will
- Have a strong passion for food and drink
- Have a keen interest in botanicals and natural products
- Be a people-person with strong communication & relationship development skills
- Be discreet and trustworthy
- Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload and customers’ needs
- Be a tenacious problem solver
- Be numerate and have basic computer skills (including ability to develop database / CRM system)
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, each with different demands, timescales and objectives.
- Be good at record keeping
- Be creative and obsessed with quality of service
Location & Salary
- Based on an idyllic 200 acre organic farm in Herefordshire (HR9).
- Personal transport is essential due to rural location, with a mix of office and remote working.
