Our client is a small but expanding manufacturer of high-quality frozen foods, with an enviable customer list across both the retail and the foodservice channels. A new line in frozen desserts presents an unparalleled opportunity to further expand into the premium HORECA channel, and to that end we have been briefed to identify and recruit an outstanding individual to execute that plan.

The company has a very loyal support base in the foodservice wholesale channel, and it would be your job to work closely with that support base of wholesalers to achieve these exciting and ambitious growth plans. In addition to working closely with the wholesalers, a substantial amount of your time would be spent with end-user accounts such as hotels, restaurants, leisure outlets etc in order to maximise business for your wholesale customer base, in a typical push/pull device.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should be an established foodservice salesperson with exposure to both the foodservice wholesale/ distributor channel as well as to the foodservice end user channel. The potential for new business is substantial so you should be fully conversant with the new business process and should be comfortable canvassing for new business as well as managing existing accounts.

The opportunity will appeal to someone who is hungry for success and who is keen to make a name for themselves, and career prospects are excellent for the right candidate.
