Your ‘day to day’
As an Area Activation Manager (AAM) no two days are the same. Our successful AAMs spend the majority of their week “in the field” – which involves a variety of tasks such as people management, attending meetings, and planning for new activity in your territories.
You will be a key player in understanding and achieving our business objectives to promote our vision for a ‘Smoke Free Future’.
You’ll communicate and execute our strategies by engaging with General Trade Customers in your area to acquire new users.
As a front-line brand advocate for PMI, you will thrive on driving territory growth, effectively handling your resources and budget, whilst ensuring the Customer is at the heart of your decision making.
You will lead a team of Territory Activation Executives, working with them to create a bespoke sales strategy to create brand awareness and sell our brands, analysing trends, initiating ideas and responding to the needs of a demanding and evolving business.
You will be one of a close network of Regional AAM’s, enjoying the shared experience and support that brings!
About You
As a successful AAM, you will be a motivational leader, embodying the skills you coach your TAEs in. You will be hands on, shadowing and mentoring in the field and you’ll be passionate about encouraging your team to achieve and exceed targets. You’ll be confident to develop your team’s entrepreneurial attitude and will empower them to accomplish set KPI’s and goals.
You will have previously managed a sales team and be able to demonstrate how to leverage relationships with your team, for a commercial result. You will be curious, embrace challenging conversations and problem solving and, have the capacity to nurture in a target driven environment.
You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to flex your style, have a real enthusiasm for people management and relationship building and be organised in your approach.
In this prestigious role, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your team, by being an integral part of the recruitment process, through screening, assessment centers and selection interviews.
You will need a valid driving license (and have had one for at least 12 months) and the right to work in the UK.
