We’re supporting a global FMCG company that manufactures several food brands that have a strong heritage in various countries and are now looking to appoint a Junior National Account Manager in a developmental role which will see you polish your skills in strategic account management, stakeholder management, commerciality and consistency in delivery.  This role sits in the Convenience Retail channel and will see you working with the Channel Director and wider team who all push to achieve what is possible!

As the Junior NAM, you will report to the Channel Director, responsible for achieving budget net sales performance and margin contributions across two key customers and take accountability for your development, hungry to keep learning and curious to know more!     

  
Main Tasks:

  • Work with the Channel Director to develop a strategy for your Convenience customers in line with the overall channel plan. Formulate account plans, responsible for P&L growth and devising, implementing and delivering on JBPs. Develop customer insight and selling stories in line with category and trade marketing using various data sources. Monthly reporting to the business with a thorough update of account developments which includes sales trends, market share opportunities and any other factors affecting the business. Own your development plan to progress through the business.

 

 

 

Skills Needed:

  • FMCG sales or buying experience. Strong communication skills with a good level of personal organisation.
  • Solid work ethic – with the desire to get the job completed.
  • Positive entrepreneurial approach whilst being resilient.     A curious nature who has the hunger to develop. An eye for commercial opportunities and the drive to make them happen!
