About the Company:
Established for over 50 years, this is a privately owned British business with a reputation for producing outstanding furniture for the most discerning customers including luxury hotel chains, stately homes, yacht builders and royal families.  The company has a relaxed culture of calm confidence that has provided long lasting customer relationships and staff retention. This new position as been created as a result of increased demand. 

Job Description:
Working from the company’s beautiful showroom in Pimlico, the job holder will be supported by a highly experienced Showroom Manager and, following a thorough induction, will:

  • Meet with customers and build strong, genuine working relationships.
  • Take time to fully understand clients’ needs.  
  • Work collaboratively with design team to interpret and project-manage commissions.
  • Prepare and follow-up quotes. 
  • Work closely with the workshop to track production.
  • Process sales orders, purchase orders and invoices accurately. 
  • Work actively with the marketing team.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
To ensure that customers continue to receive the highest quality sales experience we are looking for a special individual who can bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience with an interiors business
  • Experience of retail or field sales with an interiors product range
  • First class communication skills at all levels
  • A warm, confident, calm and helpful manner
  • Able to manage a busy workload.
  • A great eye for design and a desire to build a career in the interiors industry.

Salary/Benefits Information:
The company offers a negotiable basic salary that reflects the contribution that our new Sales Consultant can make. There are bonuses available for reaching quarterly and annual targets and a clear opportunity to progress into a more senior sales role as your knowledge of our business and clients grows.
