Business Manager, Beverages (QSR, FSR and Food-led pubs) - Leeds
Location: Leeds, GB

As a result of sustained growth and to support our long term growth agenda, we are currently looking to recruit a Business Manager to focus on our Beverages portfolio (Starbucks RTD Iced Coffee, Cocio and Arla Protein.) This will be a newly created and strategically important role holding responsibility for developing a distribution footprint in ‘Food-Led’ channels (QSR, FSR and Food-led pubs)
How will you make an impact?
You will support the development and implementation of category strategies and joint business plans across a portfolio of beverage brands, reinforcing our market leading position and optimising our growth potential
Some of your key responsibilities in the role will include:
- Full P&L ownership for an emerging channel
- Defining the ongoing strategic direction for the channel, including landscape assessments and implementing most appropriate coverage models
- A consistent focus on achieving new points of distribution and enhancing ROS across all relevant touchpoints
- Working with the Beverages Customer Activation team to define and develop a new suite of activation tools that are channel appropriate
- Implement these best in class activation mechanics and instil learnings to wider organisational benefit
- Remain informed of specific customer strategies, priorities and key objectives, including timelines, and in turn drive ongoing internal alignment.
- Deliver effective financial accrual and invoice management to ensure debt is kept below target level
- Management of all administration processes, including terms negotiations, sales reporting, business planning and forecasting
- Define and implement a customer contact influence strategy, including at appropriate industry events and key customer trade shows
- This role will have day to day responsibility for at least one account manager report
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you will be a graduate-level, results driven individual, with soft drinks category experience in a similar ‘out of home’ channel. With a strategic, analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, you will be able to translate consumer, channel and business needs into concrete business results. Proactive and outgoing, you will easily build constructive relationships externally with customers and internally across the Arla business.
