A privately owned food manufacturer of premium bakery products - This is not one of the major food groups in but a mid sized business where they make high quality products and this is the lead retail customer facing commercial role for the business.
This is a great role for someone who wants autonomy, wants to be customer facing with a broad range of customers and would like to be representing a high quality product that they believe in.
They have an opportunity to sell their group bakery products from the continent into the UK in addition to what they already sell and they would like this person to manage the accounts they have but also seek to gain new listings.
Working from home is normal in the business, ideally they would like this person to do an office day in the midlands once a week or fortnightly, their office is around Leicester / Northampton area.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of handling face to face major retail relationships of ongoing joint business plan style and have worked for a food manufacturer. This could be a first step up to NAM for an NAE or a good challenging role for an established NAM.
Package £45-55k + car/allowance + good bonuses
