Description
- Develop and implement buying strategies for FMCG products.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best price and quality.
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and sales.
- Assess sales performance and customer feedback to make informed buying decisions.
- Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and company standards.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- A completed degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
- Proven experience in buying within the retail industry, ideally FMCG or health and beauty.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Good knowledge of the health and beauty market and industry trends.
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering results.
