Few senior category leadership roles offer the scope and responsibility to lead and manage a European based marketing team including consumer insight driven category management, brand and own-label food marketing, plus shaping innovation strategies – This marketing leadership role combines these broad-based responsibilities through grocery multiples, B2B food manufacturers, foodservice and specialist trade channels.

Reporting to a Main Board Director of this dynamic, fast-growing and highly invested (capex & marketing) added-value, privately owned €200m food group, this role will provide you with the platform to research and shape future new trading strategies and work hands-on with your European-based marketing team (x7) and all other key business stakeholders.

So, this broad-based role offers a ‘Rare’ balance of FMCG Category and Marketing activities where you will be fully supported to influence and implement your ideas and trading strategies, focused on driving innovation and profitable sales growth within a number of the major trade channels, including a true ‘concept to consumer’ food product vision – WOW!

About you

You have shaped your FMCG career with own label and branded food products with a sharp commercial outlook, as you have developed your consumer insights knowledge and expertise within a modern Category Management function up into a Category Team Leader role. Currently working as Category Controller or Head of Category, you are motivated about progressing your career into a broader based ‘food marketing’ leadership role with a wider range of responsibilities where you can shape and direct own label and brand strategies from concept to implementation.

You easily understand consumer insights, trends and consumer needs and love building compelling marketing strategies that drive innovation and profitable sales growth. Then the hard work starts…  influencing internally up to the board and driving actions and implementation through all internal key stakeholders and major customers.

You love to coach, inspire and lead a team with your personality, energy and determination to make things happen.
