Account Manager (Wine) – On Trade.
£50-55,000 Basic, Bonus, Travelling Expenses/Oyster Card
Our client is one of the leading composite drinks wholesalers in the south of England with an enviable client list across the whole HORECA / On Trade channel, and with an emphasis on premium accounts and premium products. A recent joint venture with a leading wine producer presents a ready-made opportunity to exploit the massive potential offered by this partnership. To that end, we have been briefed to identify and recruit an accomplished individual to become the Wine Champion, working closely with both the producer and the customers, providing focus on the wine category, and taking a lead in the independent hotel and restaurant channel across the south of England.
In addition to your wine knowledge ( WSET preferred please ) you will also be required to manage and maximise the sales into both the existing portfolio as well as prospecting for new business. To be clear, we have been briefed to find a salesperson rather than a wine expert ( although both would be a bonus! ). You will however be required to have at least a basic understanding of wines but training will be provided.
To be considered for this exciting role you should ideally live within the London/SE region.
