£32-36,000 Basic, Bonus, Company Car

Our client is already a leader in spices, fats and oils into the various foodservice markets here in England, however a substantial capital injection from the parent company has enabled them to build an additional production facility in Scotland ( operational from April 24 ), in addition to introducing a number of fantastic new products including some very exciting and very market specific marinades and chutneys. 

The company already has a foothold in Scotland but mainly via the wholesale / route to market channels however the development of the new Scottish production facility now facilitates an end user strategy, which is where you come in. We have been briefed to identify and recruit an accomplished individual to develop business with the various different types of independent foodservice end users throughout Scotland ( such as independent cafes, delis, pubs, restaurants, sandwich shops etc ).

To be considered for this exciting position you should be an accomplished new business person with at least eighteen month’s experience of selling food product into the foodservice end user channel. Your background might be working for an independent wholesaler for example and selling to end users. And if you happen to be a foodie and/or have worked in catering or as a cook or chef at some stage in the past then that might be a bonus too.

To be considered for this exciting role you should be prepared for regular and extensive driving including some nights away from home.
