An excellent 12-Month FTC has arisen for a strong National Account Manager to join a team in the FMCG industry, based near Surrey. The role involves managing key luxury and retail accounts, driving sales, and developing new business opportunities.

Description

The National Account Manager - (12 Month FTC) - Beauty/Fragrance will:
  • Attend Head Office - 1x per week (close to Surrey)
  • Manage key accounts to maintain strong client relationships and maximise sales opportunities. I.e. JLP / Superdrug / Boots / Department Stores
  • Develop, drive and deliver Annual retailer strategies by brand to deliver above market growth across each retailers.
  • Utilise a mix of strategic agility, wider market perspective, strong retailer understanding and Financial reasoning to build robust business plans to accelerate opportunities and minimise risk.
  • Propose, negotiate and deliver improved terms, each year with the retailers, to ensure the objectives are reached.
  • Deliver Sell Out and Sell In expecatations
  • Must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the UK Market and competitors
  • Deliver robust and best in class trade activation plans, to unlock all elements of both new and Ongoing brand focuses.
  • For the retailers, ensure the delivery of activations built around long term success, where pillar development needs to be as important as product launches.
  • Develop new business opportunities within the FMCG industry.
  • Implement strategies to reach and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure targets are met.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences.


Profile

The successful National Account Manager - (12 Month FTC) - Beauty/Fragrance will have:
  • A strong background in sales, specifically within the Luxury/Beauty/Fragrance, FMCG industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A proven track record of managing key accounts and developing new business.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • An ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments.


They may also be:
  • A natural relationship builder, with a strong analytical mindset & inquisitive by nature.
  • The role requires a strong communicator who is structured and goal orientated, in a role where actions and results are pivotal to the business, but in a company where the way we do it is important, the right profile will be highly motivated, with an adaptive and entrepreneurial mindset and have a proven track record of success in the luxury Beauty world.


Job Offer

On offer for the National Account Manager - (12 Month FTC) - Beauty/Fragrance:
  • A competitive salary between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
