Description

• Build and manage a, portfolio of corporate customers in the Scarborough branch
• Completion of credit applications and credit annual reviews in line with the Bank's Credit Policy
• Interpretation of financial information provided by customers to evaluate lending propositions, assess and formulate risk ratings accurately and structure transactions
• Ensure the right customer selection by evaluating all risks involved
• Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the local market, and maintain relationships with professional firms and introducers
• Implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth of the unit alongside the Branch Manager
• Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and company policies
• Collaborating with the branch team to enhance customer service and product offerings
• Managing risk and ensuring the profitability of the branch
• Providing support and credit risk advice to the banking team
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.

Profile

A successful Corporate Banking Manager should have:

• A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• In-depth understanding of credit risk analysis
• Working knowledge within the retail banking sector
• Understanding of the local region and prior experience with corporate customers
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the banking sector
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and corporate banking products
• Exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills
• Excellent strategic planning and implementation abilities
