  • This Area Sales Manager role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has a passion for food and managing customer relationships
  • Home based role with customers based across a an area within the South East, London or Home Counties


The role:

  • The successful   Area Sales Manager will be responsible delivering sales and profit targets for a geographical area within South East, London or Home Counties. The customers are regional or independent hospitality businesses such as restaurants
  • The Area Sales Manager will understand and influence the customer through understanding their food offering and adding value to develop a winning solution.
  • Being an excellent relationship builder the Business Development Manager will design and develop a food proposition that aligns to customers needs.
  • As Area Sales Manager you will drive financial performance across your accounts to deliver revenue, profit, costs and margins to deliver targeted budgets.
  • The business is extremely food and food innovation focused, as the Area Sales Manager you will understand and capatalise of food trends and innovation. In the role you will be selling to chefs.


Ideal candidate:

  • You will currently be working in a sales role within the food industry ideally within UK foodservice or food wholesale. You also could be from a food background such as a chef and be looking for a new challenge
  • It is essential that you can  demonstrate good knowledge of the food industry
  • Ideally you will have proven experience of managing profitable sales  
  • For the Area Sales manager role you will be customer driven and have a collaborative, hands on approach.
  • You must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with stakeholders.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the food industry and have a genuine passion for food
