A European food business that operates in multiple categories within the food industry is expanding its UK Grocery team after making significant progress in the last 12 months winning in 3 of the Top4. With a relatively small but fast-growing UK team, the business has now identified an opening for an up & coming Account Executive who is ready to progress to Junior NAM level to come on board and manage the Asda and Morrisons accounts. The business has high level operators within their departments and are a team full of hunger and positive attitudes towards developing the business and their own careers.

The role:
This role is a pivotal position where you will have accountability for the customer portfolio and assist the business to understand how today’s consumers shop and have a good understanding of how to build exciting JBPs that will motivate the retailer which will ultimately help towards achieving results. You will be expected to drive the growth agenda for the accounts by being good with numbers, building excellent client relationships and executing the business plan.
You:
- 1-2yrs’ experience working in an FMCG sales role with retailers.
- Must have a results-focused mentality.
- Have an ambitious career with a view to progressing quickly whilst learning.
- Highly numerate with good client relationship building skills.
- Ability to be in their Herts HQ 2 days p/wk.
This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is 1 or 2 jobs in to their FMCG sales or marketing career and has developed quickly with a good understanding of national accounts.
