Job Details

Our client, a leading provider of interior design services in the South West for over 40 years, is looking for a motivated individual to join their team. Their team of talented people create show homes for national and regional housebuilder clients as well as stylish interiors for hotels and private homes. The business award-winning Investors in People and is based on a friendly culture of integrity and respect for customers, colleagues and suppliers alike.


The role:

In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business by researching opportunities, developing new accounts, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Working closely with the design team, you'll develop business with national and regional housebuilders to sell stylish and creative interior design services for their clients' show homes.


This is a permanent role with a hybrid working model of 1-2 days in the office and remaining time in field-based sales, visiting clients both regionally and nationally. The package includes a basic salary of £35,000 - £39,000 (depending on experience), plus a 10% bonus and car.


The person:

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in sales and a keen interest in interior design. Knowledge of the new homes market will be a distinct advantage. With proficiency in IT skills including PowerPoint and Excel, you'll have keen attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, whether written, face to face or by telephone.
