To continue this expansion, they seek to grow their existing range of products and want to appoint a driven individual who is keen to operate as part of the wider category team.
In this role you will be supporting the Category Manager to delivery growth plans, through daily use of several data sources (including Kantar, IRI and store data) turning this market and store data into daily, weekly, and monthly cycles, enabling you to understanding the market to identify “gaps” allowing these opportunities to be capitalised upon.
With at least 3 years’ working experience within a data analyst environment with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi. FMCG industry experience desirable but not essential, it is more important to have a strong data analytical mindset and the desire to grow your skill set further as part of this supportive team.
A good knowledge of the retail sectors, understanding of category management and sound commercial reasoning is desirable.
You must be confident enough, taking personal accountability to deliver actionable market insights and recommendations to both internal and external parties.
