Senior National Account Manager – Grocery | High growth Company | Personal Care

Remote based role

Up to £70k + £10k car allowance and up to 40% bonus

 

Client:

  • High growth Personal Care Company seeking a Senior National Account Manager - Grocery + Convenience. 
  • Within the last 15 years this business has expanded to be a recognised global Personal Care brand selling in over 50 countries!
  • In Ireland + UK they hold a strong market position but recognise opportunities exist to unlock further growth both within key customers and also through targeting white space
  • We are now seeking a Senior National Account Manager to join this high-performing & passionate team

 

Role:

  • As Senior National Account Manager you will manage Irish based retailer partnership’s including, Dunnes, Musgraves BWG & Tesco Ireland and be the main point of contact, negotiate trading terms, and analyse sales and forecasts.
  • Operating across a number of product categories you will have multiple buying contacts within each retailer and be responsible for shaping and delivering successful JBPs and Promotional Strategies as well as managing account budgets and investment.
  • Drive customer profitability and brand plans by delivering customer NSV targets and executing value-adding trade investments and promotional strategies.
  • Increase vertical distribution by expanding range, space, and distribution, and manage distributors within designated channels.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and collaborate with various teams to develop and execute joint business plans, deliver key commercial metrics, and drive growth strategies, including omnichannel and online presence.

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Manage large customer agreements and drive growth through joint business partnering in a fast-paced CPG / FMCG environment, gaining valuable experience in the process.Possess proven sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a National Account Manager role, with a focus on grocery and other large national accounts.
  • Exhibit strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving incremental growth in accounts.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, administration, analytical skills, and communication abilities, while building strategic relationships, driving category management, and prospecting for new accounts.
