Job Details

The role will support the NAM to deliver sales and profit contribution among the Grocery and High Street channels.

The role will be a goo d mix of supporting on larger accounts, with internal and customer facing commercial and administrative duties, as well as ownership on small to medium accounts, to maintain, develop and grow business!

My client operate in Health + Beauty and have a £40m tuurnover, with the vision to double in the next 3 years

The successful National Account Executive - Health + Beauty will be involved in:

Account Management
  • Support the National Account Manager to develop the sales strategy and deliver the plan for the defined customer base.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of gross sales and net profit contribution target.
  • Ongoing evaluation and response to sales performance vs plan.
  • Network comprehensively within trade accounts in the critical areas such as stock replenishment, buying, finance, merchandising, training and supply chain using these contacts to benefit business and the trade relationship.
  • Work closely with brand teams to ensure visibility & conversion in the channel are maximized.
  • Alongside the National Account Manager, seek to develop new business within accounts.

  • Complete appropriate detail in all planning systems (internal & external) that are required to execute the sales plan; includes New Line Forms and Promotional Nominations in line with their required timings.
  • Monitor and track sales using customer portals to support with data downloads.
  • Forecast volume, sales and spend effectively.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, including contact reports & development progress reports.

  • To undertake any reasonable additional duties as requested by the Sales Director.
  • Attend sales meetings, conferences, trade shows conventions as and when required.


The best candidate for the role will demonstrate:
  • Excellent commercial and relationship building skills
  • A real ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers at multiple levels
  • Strong analytical skills and able to interpret complex data
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to achieve objectives
  • Good commercial acumen & commercial understanding of other business functions
  • The ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines
  • Good presentation skills
  • Tenacious ability to go the extra mile to make it happen within all accounts
  • Positive can do attitude and enthusiastic with both their work and within the workplace
  • Effective communication skills

Required Experience:
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment preferred. - Ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Educated to graduate level ideally in a related Business degree
  • MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential
  • A full driving license is required
  • Travel in the UK is an essential part of the role

Job Offer

On offer for the successful National Account Executive is:
  • £30,000 - £33,000 starting salary as an NAE (yearly salary reviews)
  • Bonus circa 10%
  • 1-2 days HYBRID in the office based in Berkshire -
