Over the past 40 years, my client have been offering an alternative to pet food. With a healthy, natural, unprocessed pet food, their aim is to improve the diets and lives of our fluffy friends.
With the increase of 'pet parents' rather than 'pet owners' since Covid, pet diets have been thrust into the limelight and it's an exciting time to join a company in continuous growth. They're now looking for a category manager
Description
- Be the category and brand expert to identify trends and opportunities
- Create and deliver innovation presentations
- Monitor, track, and analyse performance of top accounts. Set objectives and KPIs around this
- Identify promotional opportunities and support on visibility plans
- Analyse promotional performance and competitor activity
- Work closely with KAMs to drive brand presence and maximise sales performance
- Develop creative POS material to assist with activation and visibility in stores
- Coordinate merchandising to ensure plans and agreements are executed in store
- Lead the sales-out reporting to stay ahead of opportunities and trends
Profile
- Experience in category management and/or trade marketing is essential
- Must have worked for an FMCG brand (pet food a bonus)
- Analytically minded with strong commercial acumen
- Prior understanding of consumer markets and trends
- Able to travel to a London office twice a week
Job Offer
- £50k-£60k
- 10% bonus
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Hybrid working (2 days/week in Central London office)
