Our client is already a leader in the garden products/horticultural sector. A vacancy exists for a Business Development Manager to cover the West Midlands/Gloucestershire area selling to independent garden centres. This presents a massive opportunity not only to increase turnover into existing accounts, but perhaps even more excitingly the opportunity to open new business with new garden centre customers. The role includes a substantial portfolio of existing accounts to manage and optimise, however lots of potential on the area mean new opportunities with new customers so you should also be familiar with the new business process as well as being an accomplished account manager.

To this end we have been briefed to find an outstanding individual to execute the plan across the Midlands/South West area. 

To be considered for this exciting role, you should be from a horticultural background ( a personal interest in gardening would be a bonus but is not essential ). Our Client will also consider candidates with experience of selling general garden products eg garden tools, plant pots etc. They are also happy to consider candidates who are currently working in a garden centre and who have the confidence and aspiration to move into a field sales role.
