Job Details

Our client is a manufacturer of a range of branded and own-label products. They are a real success story with listings across the major multiples and retail. Their products are at the forefront of consumer changing tastes and as a result, have had excellent sales growth. This is backed by a new product development programme second to none.

Due to this growth and internal promotions, they require a National Account Manager (Multiples). While having the financial muscle of a major food manufacturer this will not be like working for a large blue-chip corporation. As they are a dynamic, focused, and entrepreneurial business. that allows fast decisions.

In this high-profile National Account Manager role you will be:

  • Working with top grocery accounts and your principal focus will be to grow sales.
  • Managing both branded and own-label ranges.
  • Develop joint business plans across the brands whilst negotiating long-term own-label contracts.
  • Need to understand the needs of the business and how to meet these in all areas of pricing, promotions, and category development.
  • Build relationships cross-functionally across your account portfolio.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Will have managed multiple accounts as a National Account Manager or worked as a National Account Executive or number two on a major multiple.
  • Can understand data provided by Nielsen and Kantar and use this to support the sales story and the new product development programme.
  • With passion and entrepreneurial skills to make this happen.
  • Graduate calibre, coupled with excellent communication skills and high levels of IT literacy and financial acumen.
