Description
Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing:
- Leading the formulation of comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Ensuring the effective execution of marketing initiatives.
- Prioritising the expansion of target audiences and product adoption.
- Evaluating and providing insights on the entire marketing strategy and its execution.
- Crafting the corporate brand identity in collaboration with the Founders.
- Supervising creative agencies and their work.
- Collaborating with senior team members from various departments to uncover insights and create innovative marketing and branding approaches.
- Identifying opportunities to expand the marketing team and secure necessary resources.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on all marketing activities, outcomes, and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Conducting strategic marketing analysis to inform messaging strategies.
- Overseeing the planning and execution of social media efforts.
- Conceiving, developing, and implementing marketing plans, strategies, and promotional campaigns to stimulate interest and drive sales.
Profile
The ideal Head of Marketing:
- Proficiency in search engine optimisation (SEO), lead generation, and affiliate marketing practices, techniques, and expected outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership in overseeing daily team responsibilities and effectively managing larger ad hoc projects.
- Adept at fostering strong interdepartmental relationships to facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic leadership as needed.
- Competency in using various software packages, including Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Dot Digital, Mailchimp, Hootsuite andGoogle Business Tools
- Experience in a consumer marketing role
