Business Development Manager – Foodservice
Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension
Home Based - Scotland, NE England, NW England
Full time position - minimum 30 hours per week
Absolute location is not essential for the right candidate, however the role will require travel to meetings.

Responsibilities:
- You will be required to develop new business in certain sectors within Foodservice, focusing mainly on Universities and Hospitals plus Wholesalers at depot level with Telesales teams
- Responsible for promoting brands and generating sales for our portfolio of clients, both over the phone and face-to-face
- Although part of a Team, you must be able to work alone in order to generate your own leads and increase your customer base
- Accountable for creating and maintaining a database of contacts and updates for reporting purposes
- As a Business Development Manager in FusionFSM, you will be an integral part of our team and will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of three years experience as a Business Development Manager within the Foodservice market is essential
- Thorough knowledge of the UK Foodservice market, ideally with experience in the Healthcare and Education sectors
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong negotiator and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An outgoing personality, using your own initiative within a highly focused team in a growing Foodservice dedicated business
The Person:
- Experience of face-to-face sales within the Foodservice sector
- Confident telephone manner
- Experience in telesales within Foodservice would be useful
- An efficient planner, good time manager who works productively
- Strong relationships at various levels within Regional Accounts, Freetrade Accounts and the Wholesaler routes to market
- Good administrative and IT skills
- Clear evidence and success in winning and developing existing and new business
