Progressive global €850m (UK €90m) food business with a combination of brand and own-label products across a number of food categories. The business is much admired for having a highly positive investment-for-growth strategy, led by a dynamic and driven management leadership team who are looking to achieve further market growth.
As part of their growth strategy, they are now looking to attract a highly talented, commercially-minded National Account Manager to manage a portfolio of high profile and growing retail multiple grocery customers, with the ability and ambition to further grow their future career up to SNAM level and beyond.
Directly manage Morrisons, M&S, Waitrose & Co-op, including brand and own-label added value food products, with individual account sales and profit growth responsibility and taking the commercial lead, while working cross functionally with all internal stakeholders.
This position is focused on driving further profitable sales growth through building effective, broad-based customer contact relationships, driving new listings, product distribution and leading their creative NPD innovation activities both internally and externally.
All 3 trading accounts are growing, with excellent relationships and strategic product growth opportunities, so there is real potential for the appointed NAM to achieve further growth success.
You’re ambitious, driven, highly personable and are now looking to step up your FMCG commercial career into major grocery retail multiple accounts with full P&L responsibility.
You have developed your FMCG sales and account management career up to NAE/NAM level with respected food or drink own-label, or own-label and branded companies gaining experience with new product launches, promotions and pricing/terms negotiation and building effective relationships.
