A challenger brand in the premium snacking category is now entering its next stage of growth. Already listed with Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Ocado and Asda and a full innovation pipeline, lots of NPD will be hitting the shelves in 2024. So now is a great time to build on its brand positioning and current listings to become a high growth challenger brand both in the UK and beyond. The Commercial Manager will manage and develop existing accounts, win new business and build commercial capability for the business. The growth plan for the business will see additional headcount coming into the sales function so there is real scope for the position to develop into a bigger leadership opportunity.
What will my accountabilities be?
Manage and develop existing key relationships, working with current accounts to create relevant and targeted promotions to help drive incremental sales
Build and develop relationships with new customers, coming up with new initiatives to drive sales across all channels – including independents, online, export etc
Collaborate with marketing to help bring the brand to life by devising targeted in-store marketing, including point of sale, creative displays, promotions and collaborations
Work with current accounts to ensure strong shelf positioning and devise ways to help alleviate compliance issues.
Who will I be working with?
Reporting to the Founder, you will be team member 6, and will operate as the commercial lead for the business
Externally you will work with multiple retail, wholesale, convenience, high street and independent channels
A great candidate will have:
Proven success in FMCG Sales, ideally across all channels
Strong commercial experience with a grasp and grip of “the numbers”.
Results driven with a desire to succeed – you are a self-starter and can thrive in a small business that’s going places.
Naturally positive with a real growth mindset and a resilient attitude.
