My client, based just outside London, are looking for a national account manager to join their leading beauty business.

Description
National Account Manager - Luxury Beauty:
The main purpose for this exciting role is to manage a number of their current UK retail accounts as well as looking for and opening new retailers. Working with buyers, retail marketing teams, internal stakeholders and external logistics providers you will manage a number of their premium beauty brands.
Responsibilities include:
- To manage, develop and grow a range of accounts including: Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty, Fenwicks, Harvey Nichols and John Lewis
- Build and develop strong relationships with buyers, marketing and wider commercial teams
- Create business plans and take full P&L responsibility for your accounts
- Deliver excellent implementation of key business initiatives, selling in NPD, executing promotional plans and seeking out other profitable opportunities to increase sales
- Manage trade amplification plans with key customers, working closely with Marketing dept
- Monitor and track forecasts vs annual targets and ongoing demand plans, course correcting as necessary to stay on track
- Manage pricing, accruals, promotional administration effectively.
- Manage the annual JBP process ensuring activities and spend align to this
- Have a clear understanding of the main influences / key features and market trends of all trading channels, key customers, consumers and product categories covered
- Achieve profit / gross margin KPI's in line with company expectations.
- Provide information required for all internal and external requirements within specified deadlines.
- Maximize distribution, availability and visibility of brands in account portfolio by setting specific targets /gap analysis and account plans. Always ensure that all new and existing listings are managed through to customer display compliance.
Profile
The Successful National Account Manager - Luxury Beauty:
- Proven track record within a national account management role
- Proven track record working within the beauty sector
- Clear evidence of building strong customer relationships and developing business plans with clear internal and external KPI's
- Positive attitude and strong desire to grow the business with customers in a commercially sustainable way
- Highly motivated and resilient with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A problem-solver, capable of working with limited data to find innovative and creative solutions
- Collaborative working style, building good relationships within the team
- Numerical proficiency with good understanding of P&Ls and drivers of profitability
- Good knowledge and experience dealing with high street / department stores.
Job Offer
The Successful National Account Manager - Luxury Beauty:
- £50,000 per annum basic salary (there may be some flexibility for someone excellent)
- Other company benefits
- To be commutable to a South East (just outside London) office 1 - 2 times a week.
