Description
To co-ordinate day to day operations of the marketing department.
To line manage and direct the work of the Marketing Intern.
To manage the content on the website - keeping content fresh, relevant, and accurate.
To manage all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok), creating content for both paid and organic postings.
To liaise with colleagues on marketing requests, taking briefs and managing delivery and outcomes.
To support colleagues with outreach activity - providing suitable materials and building external relations.
To monitor and report on Google Analytics and provide input to management reports.
To manage and undertake photography for events and social media activity including commissioning photography and managing photoshoots.
To oversee the production of videos for use on social media and website.
To work collaboratively with the events team to promote events.
To assist with all marketing campaigns, including mailshots, email marketing, social media and enewsletters and events.
To create design content for digital and print media including internal posters and flyers as well as online channels.
To liaise with external agencies on advertising, design, PR, and web development.
To oversee the email campaign schedule and content.
Profile
A passion for content writing
Experience of taking marketing briefs and liaising with agencies
Experience of designing a variety of paper based and electronic marketing materials
Advanced IT skills including Excel, Word, Power Point and database management
Knowledge of website content management systems
Excellent time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work demands to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, share tasks and responsibilities with other members of the team and work on own initiative
A very good standard of written English and experience in writing copy for marketing materials and other documents
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
The ability to provide support and guidance to junior staff members
Job Offer
£16 per hour, contrafct until July 2024
