The Role: Senior National Account Manager (12 months FTC)

  • Kickstart Your Year: Join us in January 2024 for this exciting role.
  • Maternity Cover: You'll be managing Co-op/Nisa, Iceland, and Booths, making a real impact during this contract.
  • Autonomy and Impact: Reporting to a Channel Director, you'll have full autonomy to shape and execute successful Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and promotional strategies.
  • Innovation at Its Best: 2024 promises to be an innovation-packed year, so landing a host of New Product Developments (NPD) will be a significant part of the role.
  • Key Connector: You'll be the linchpin connecting our company with our customers, driving sales, market share, and profitability, while nurturing the growth of our cherished brands.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Big Brand Sales Pro: We're seeking a proven sales professional with significant experience, ideally with a minimum of two trading cycles under your belt, operating at Retailer Head office level, whether in Convenience, Discounters, or Grocery.
  • Unleash Your Drive and Creativity: Naturally, this role demands passion, ambition, enthusiasm, and a creative spark, coupled with high-level technical skills like selling, negotiation, forecasting, and commercial acumen.
  • Customer-Centric: The ability to listen, understand, and respond to our customers' needs is key.
  • Collaboration is Key: As you'll be working across functions, the ability to develop and maintain relationships through a collaborative working style is crucial.
  • Branded Food Enthusiast: We are looking for individuals who are genuinely passionate about the branded food business environment.

Benefits & Details:

  • Attractive Package: You can expect a competitive salary of up to £60k (dependent on experience), an £8k car allowance, a generous 14% bonus, pension, and private medical benefits.
  • Balanced Working: You'll be based in a South East office approximately two days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday), with the flexibility to work from home or meet customers on other days.
