  • National Account Manager - Grocery opportunity to join a category leading drinks business where their brand holds number 1 status within their category and they’ve been very active in the last 2 years bringing new brands and innovation to market This established brand has strong distribution within the Grocery channel, backed by strong consumer metrics and an exciting NPD pipeline, so are well positioned for strong growth! Offers power & scale of large International food group, but operates as independent UK operation with agility of small business; with a committed team and a fun, family orientated and straight forward culture Strong track record of developing talent and progressing people through the organisation, which has resulted in this exciting National Account Manager - Grocery role where you will be responsible for Asda & Morrisons.

 

The role:

  • Take on a strategic and operational responsibility of Asda & Morrisons with full P&L responsibility
  • Build strong customer partnerships and create mutually agreed and beneficial Joint Business Plans
  • Network across multiple buying points and levels to lead the delivery of the UK Branded agenda but also champion Private Label development opportunities within each retailer
  • To manage sales investment expenditure to budget, shape and challenge promotional plans
  • Deliver sales, trade spend and profit targets

 

Ideal candidate:

  • You will have experienced at least 2 trading cycles within Top 6 Grocery retailers whether as Lead Account Manager or within a larger Customer team managing a Product area or Retailer format
  • Ideally you will have branded FMCG background & training along with some experience of Private Label
  • Ability to demonstrate strong selling and negotiation skills with a proven track record of growing an account
  • Strong commercial acumen to enable development of strong commercial propositions
  • A hunger and determination to progress your career.

  • This is a home-based role with on average 1 day per week in a South East Head Office with the rest WFH or in customer;
  • Salary is pitched c£55k with car allowance, strong bonus opportunity, excellent pension and private medical
