Your Opportunity

  • Support the business on our quest to produce key actionable insights that power Bacardi's growth;
  • Earn a place as a trusted advisory to Off Trade retailers by partnering with them to understand their business objectives and help define where and how Bacardi can play a role in achieving them;
  • Support on key research projects to understand our categories, our shoppers and consumers more effectively.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

  • Be an expert and the voice on Market, Category and Shopper trends across Spirits, Vermouth and RTD in the Off Trade;
  • Proactively use data from multiple sources to assess the category situation, building recommendations and identifying opportunities to drive long term business growth;
  • Support the Senior Off Trade Category Manager with category and channel initiatives that generate joint business growth, working closely with cross functional partners to deliver the best in class execution online and in store;
  • Optimise merchandising layout to improve ease of shop ensuring the right quantity and quality of space to drive overall category performance; 
  • Track distribution and support Sales with opportunities to drive distribution gains and minimise losses; 
  • Oversee Range recommendations and identify risks and opportunities within the Bacardi portfolio; 
  • Independently develop and maintain strong category relationships with your customers, delivered through unbiased recommendations; 
  • Support and upskill Marketing and Sales teams for them to confidently take a consultative category selling approach to their customers whilst developing and providing the necessary tolls to do this (i.e. playbooks, regular reports)

  • Must have relevant experience with a good understanding of the Off Trade Channel (Category, Insights, Sales); 
  • Proficiency in English; 
  • strong analytical skills and very comfortable interpreting data; 
  • Highly inquisitive, always asking the "So What?"; 
  • Experienced in managing and influencing key stakeholders; 
  • A flair for presenting and "telling the story"; 
  • Highly motivated to succeed and can take ownership of the role.
