Founded on the docks of Glasgow in 1844 by James Whyte and Charles Mackay, Whyte and Mackay have grown into a company that produces and distributes some of the most respected whisky brands in the world including The Dalmore, Jura, Tamnavulin, and Fettercairn alongside our flagship Blended Whisky, Whyte & Mackay. 

Headquartered in Glasgow, with offices from New York to Singapore, they are a community of over 550 people across every aspect of whisky-making. In Scotland, they operate 8 sites including 4 renowned Single Malt Distilleries, a state-of-the-art Bottling Hall and Distribution Centre in Grangemouth, and a Whisky Production and Warehousing Centre in Invergordon.

Due to internal promotions and continued growth, they are now looking to hire three Key Account Managers in their fast growing On Trade channel.

The right candidate will be joining an ambitious and passionate on trade team, where the business have proven wins in National Chain On trade, the Scotland hub, against the luxury strategy in our London Mayfair hub and  are now seeking growth out with Mayfair.

Working on the award winning whisky portfolio you will be a passionate advocate for the brands and a commercially aware sales person.

Candidate attributes:

  • Proven capabilities within the independent free trade channel
  • Live and breathe the London market, true comprehension of how it operates and being renowned as the ‘Go To’
  • Strong commercial acumen, knowing the lingo and adapting your approach to the target market.
  • Experience of managing and developing an effective customer strategy, winning new listings, and increasing brand awareness
  • Passionate about the Whyte and Mackay portfolio and able to articulate USPs
