Exciting new NAM position within one of the UK’s fastest growing Foodservice Food trends

THE COMPANY:

We are a Globally renowned brand leader in Japanese Food products.

Within the UK we operate with a £50 Million plus turnover servicing clients across the Foodservice sector.

This includes the traditional Japanese and Chinese Food sectors but also significantly includes continued growth into the mainstream Foodservice channel.

Although we manufacturer for the retail sector, the FMCG part of our business is outsourced resulting in our team being 100% dedicated to the Foodservice sector.

With Japanese cuisine being on-trend we have ambitious plans to introduce our market leading products into further new customers across all sectors.

We have a fantastic European based NPD team which allow us to not only introduce our existing range but also to develop bespoke and innovative products for our customers.

We are seeking to add a further sales professional to our team to support with developing relationships with our Japanese restaurant customer base.

 

THE ROLE:

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to inherit an existing account base with some realistic growth plans in this area in place for 2022

You will inherit a large account base of Japanese and oriental restaurants and have responsibility for maintaining and developing relationships with the customer base.

This will involve a fair amount of business travel as, although the customer base is waited towards the South East, we have valuable account across the country.

You will be responsible for introducing our product range to the customer base, retain lines on menus and also introduce new products.

Our NPD plans are extensive and exciting so there will be plenty of opportunities to introduce new product lines.

 

THE APPLICANT.

The successful candidate will be a passionate Foody with an interest in oriental food products.

 

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in field sales.
  • Candidates with experience in FMCG or Food sales will be of particular interest
  • Candidates must enjoy business travel and covering a large territory.
  • Candidates are preferred to be “foodie” by nature who enjoys great food and eating out of home
