Senior National Account Manager (Plant Based Food) - Grocery

The Role
We are looking for a highly driven and purpose focussed Senior National Account Manager to build the Plant Based categories across the UK Grocers. We have already listings in Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose, Coop and Ocado with more on the way. This strategic role would mean working with the U.K. Grocers and there are no barriers to how big your role could be, with enormous untapped opportunity across the market with Founders and leadership team who offer team members the space to own their roles and build their own success. This isn’t for the faint hearted – the pace is fast, the standards are high, and no day is the same. But if you are up for the challenge to build the next SME success story (think Oatly or Innocent) this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities
  • You will take advantage of our unique product range to drive category growth across the U.K. Grocery Multiples
  • Develop & drive your channel & account strategies
  • Win key new business & listings targets across the Grocery market
  • Best in class account management of existing customers
  • Full commercial responsibility for your accounts including forecasting, P&L and development and execution of JBP to achieve targets
  • Work directly with Trade Marketing, to launch accounts & products, drive product awareness and build integrated brand plans
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key account contacts

The person

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing the U.K. Grocers at NAM / SNAM level
  • Ideally blue-chip trained, with experience working in an SME / Entrpreneurial environment
  • Passionate about animal welfare, sustainability & ideally has worked with Plant Based products or a passion for vegan products
  • Skilled at creating categories & launching game changing innovation
  • A strategic thinker with experience of creating & implementing a multi-account growth strategy & tactical plan
  • A tenacious hunter with strong experience of proactively identifying white space opportunities & winning new business
  • Commercially astute and a skilled negotiator with experience landing win win JBPs
  • A passion to succeed as if it was your own business
  • Exceptional cross functional worker & team player
