The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Senior National Accounts Manager with experience in fmcg and a successful track record, to develop new and existing retail accounts.  

This role will suit someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset, is results driven and is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop.  Specifically you will:

· create retailer specific business growth plans and sales strategy including promotional plans

· liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to agree and execute plans

· plan and execute trade marketing plans to grow our presence and increase performance 

· identify and follow through on npd opportunities across trade accounts

· develop annual sales forecasts

· influence and manage retailer relationships at multiple levels

· work cross functionally with marketing, finance, and supply teams

· negotiate and manage trading terms

· monitor and review sales performance

The Person

· Must thrive on taking responsibility and delivering results

· Experience in successful FMCG negotiations

· Passionate, energetic and persistent in achieving new business targets

· Flexible – needs to be able to adapt and change in response to the company’s priorities

· ‘Can do’ mind set.  Glass is always half full.

· Strong communications skills and able to build and maintain solid customer relationships to Category Director level

· Enjoys working in a small team with a high level of responsibility to deliver

· Excellent IT skills and understanding of the power of data. Experience using retailers reporting software to form insights and actions

· Able to prepare and present fully costed trade presentations

· Embrace opportunities for personal development and training

· Good leadership and managerial skills

· Experience managing a P&L

· Excellent commercial acumen

· Top 4 grocery experience preferred
